Women's Soccer Brings in 12 All-Region Honors

CANTON, Ga. - The United Soccer Coaches released the 2025 All-Region teams including 12 Southern Athletic Association athletes.

Conference regular season and tournament champion Trinity landed 5 selections with two being named to the first team in SAA Defensive Athlete of the Year Ilsa Newland and Midfielder Bri Werner. Also in the line for the Tigers making second team was Alex Doran and Hannah Khan with Kylie Harris taking third team honors.

SAA runner-up Rhodes placed three familiar names on the list with Sophia Rall taking second team honors and Taylor Theofiledes along with Grace Culver being named to the third team.

Sewanee was the only ot her institution from the SAA to tag another name to the first team list in Kylene Monaghan while Sonia Djurasovic took second team.

Southwestern powered in Jackie Powell with third team honors. 

All teams are members of Region VI.
