KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches announced the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer All-Americans which holds SAA Athlete Ilsa Newland.
The Trinity senior defender, Ilsa Newland earned second team All-American honors this afternoon. Newland claimed her fame early this season in the SAA taking the first defensive athlete of the week honor and finalized the SAA season as the Defensive Athlete of the Year. Aiding her team in a run at the NCAA Championships, the SAA Champion started in all 20 games for the Tigers and had five goals as a defender. In her career she appeared in 74 games and had two game winning goals. Newland was crucial for the Tigers defense this season who held opponents to 11 total goals across those 20 games.
This year’s All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pa., in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
