CANTON, Ga. - The AVCA announced a record-breaking 1,450 collegiate and high shcool volleyball teams who maintained a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale, to earn the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award -- six from the SAA were among that list.

The Southern Athletic Association teams among that list were: Berry, Millsaps, Oglethorpe, Rhodes, Sewanee, and former member Hendrix. 

Our incoming members, Southwestern and Trinity were also on the prestigious list.

These teams took the SAA Value of Academic Excellence to a new level displaying their educational priorities that are central to our selective liberal arts institutions.
