CANTON, Ga. – The AVCA/TARAFLEX has released its 2025 Division III Volleyball Preseason Poll, with Trinity University earning the No. 10 national ranking.
The Tigers stand as the lone Southern Athletic Association program in the preseason top 25, while Berry, Southwestern, and Centre each received votes.
Trinity’s roster is a balanced mix of experience and fresh talent, featuring five seniors, four juniors, five sophomores, and six freshmen. Among the returners are standout setter Kendall DeRivel, an AVCA All-Region honoree, and Courtney Pope, who earned AVCA All-American honorable mention and All-Region recognition.
The Tigers closed last season ranked No. 16 nationally after advancing to the NCAA Regional, where they fell to Emory University—now ranked No. 5 in the preseason poll. This fall, Trinity faces another challenging schedule to prove its top-10 status, opening on Friday, August 29 Friday, against No. 12 Millikin, followed by matchups with No. 24 NYU and No. 13 Wisconsin-Platteville.
Coming off their 22nd SCAC Championship, Trinity enters its first SAA campaign ready to make an immediate impact in a highly competitive conference.
The regular season begins August 29, with conference play starting September 20 and the SAA Championship set to begin November 13.
