CANTON, Ga.  – Trinity and Centre split week nine athlete of the week honors after closing their conference slates this past week.

Athletes of the Week
Offense:
Connelley McWilliams | Trinity | SR | Austin, TX – McWilliams put together an outstanding weekend to help No. 19 Trinity close out the SAA regular season with a pair of victories, sweeping Maryville 3-0 before defeating Sewanee 3-1. McWilliams totaled 21 kills across the two matches, hitting .438 against Maryville before delivering 13 kills with an incredible .722 hitting percentage against Sewanee, a mark tied for 15th in Trinity history for a single match. She also contributed five block assists over the weekend, helping the Tigers finish with a 10-6 conference record.
 
Defense:
Campbell Miles | Centre | FR | Louisville, KY – Campbell Miles again played a key role for Centre volleyball going 3-0 this week, keeping numerous plays alive. The freshman libero had 42 digs across three matches, good for 4.7 digs per set. She had 15 kills in both of Centre's conference wins over Rhodes and Millsaps, helping the Colonels secure the outright SAA regular season title.

Offense
  • Keira Kruk | Berry | SR | Naples, FL – Senior OH Keira Kruk had two standout performances helping the Vikings secure two SAA victories on the road. Keira began the weekend earning her 1,000th career point with a double-double posting a match-high 14 kills, 10 digs, 2 blocks and an ace in a victory over Millsaps. She followed that with another double-double posting a match-high 21 kills, hitting .385, adding 18 digs, 2 blocks, 2 aces and 24 points in a victory over Rhodes. On the weekend Keira hit an impressive .312, notched 5 points/set, 4 kills/set, 3.6 digs/set, 4 blocks and 3 aces. She now leads the SAA in kills/set. 
  • Syd Bietz | Centre | SR | Versailles, KY – Syd Bietz led Centre in kills across three wins this week. Bietz averaged just under four kills per set, accumulating 35 kills over three sweeps while hitting .256. She had a 15-kill performance in a sweep against Millsaps to help the second-ranked Colonels clinch the outright SAA regular season title.
  • Khloe Duncan | Millsaps | FR | Lacombe, LA – Millsaps volleyball freshman outside hitter Khloe Duncan had a strong weekend against Berry, Centre and Oglethorpe. Hitting .241, Duncan tallied 39 kills, five blocks, 12 digs, and an assist. She tallied 20 kills in a 4-set victory over the Stormy Petrels on Sunday.
Defense
  • Sandy Bourgeois | Millsaps | SR | Luling, LA – Millsaps volleyball senior libero Sandy Bourgeois played well against Berry, Centre and Oglethorpe during three weekend matches. She totaled 52 digs, eight assists, and two aces.
  • Lucy Riggar | Southwestern | FR | Nashville, TN – Lucy Riggar led the Pirates to a 2-0 weekend in the Maryville College pod while getting it done on both offense and defense. The freshman led the Pirates with 24 digs on defense. She tallied 17 on Saturday against Maryville and seven versus Sewanee. She also led the Pirates with 26 kills.
