DICKSON, Tenn. — Sewanee holds a seven-stroke lead after the opening round of the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Women’s Golf Championship, delivering a strong start to the tournament.
Placing five golfers inside the top 10, Sewanee is led by Natalie Catapano, who recorded the only under-par round of the day with a 2-under (70). Jane Stilz sits tied for third at 2-over (74), while Elizabeth Bowman, Anna Claire Gibson, and Rachel Waters are all tied at 5-over (77).
As a team, Sewanee posted a 10-over (298) to take the early lead, with Trinity in second at 17-over (305). The Tigers are paced by Jessica Mason, who is tied for third at (74).
Berry’s Amanda Milner sits in second individually after an even-par (72), while Oglethorpe and Centre round out the team standings in third and fourth with scores of 316 and 317, respectively.
Round two will be underway tomorrow beginning at 7:30 AM CT.
