2026 SAA Men's Tennis Primed for Championship

MEMPHIS - The SAA heads to Memphis, Tennessee, for the 2026 SAA Men's Tennis Championship held at Leftwich Tennis Center from April 24-26.

The Sewanee Tigers captured their 12th regular season title to earn the No. 1 seed and a bye in this year's tournament while No. 2 seed Trinity will also have an opening round bye. 

Two first round matches will take place on Friday at 9:00 am CT with four-seeded Rhodes taking on five-seeded Berry while three-seeded Southwestern battles sixth seeded Oglethorpe. The Lynx bested Berry 4-3 at the end of March, the winner of the match will go on to play Sewanee. The Pirates and Petrels will take each other on after the Pirates defeated Oglethorpe in regular season 5-2. The winner of that game will play Trinity on Saturday.

The men’s championship will hit the courts at 9 am on Sunday, April 26. Sewanee is the four-time defending champions and owns 11 total titles. Oglethorpe won the championship in 2021.
