MEMPHIS - The SAA Championship is set at Leftwich Tennis Center in Memphis, Tennessee from April 24-26.
The Trinity Tigers captured their first-ever SAA Regular season title after joining the league this Fall. Most recently, the Tigers of Sewanee held the last four with eleven total regular season trophies. Trinity will be the No. 1 seed and Sewanee has captured the No. 2 seed, both earning first round bye's.
The first round matches will take place on Friday, April 24 at 1 pm CT with four-seeded Rhodes taking on fifth-seeded Centre while three-seeded Southwestern will play sixth-seeded Berry. Rhodes defeated Centre in regular season 5-2. The winner of that match will face Trinity on Saturday while the winner of the Pirates versus Vikings game will battle with Sewanee. This season the Pirates defeated the Vikings 4-0.
The women's championship match will be at 1 pm CT on Sunday, April 26. Sewanee is the four-time defending champion with 11 total tournament championships, Millsaps won in 2021.
