CANTON, Ga. - The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has two teams headed to the national softball tournament - Berry and Trinity.
The 64-team field consists of 42 automatic qualifiers and 22 at-large bids. The tournament will conclude on Wednesday, June 3 at Moyer Sports Park in Salem, Virginia.

- Regionals: Thursday, May 14 - Saturday, May 16
- Super Regionals: Thursday, May 21 - Friday, May 22
- Finals: Thursday, May 28 - Wednesday, June 3
Berry won the conference's automatic qualifier on Sunday after defeating top-seeded Trinity twice to take home their fifth consecutive SAA tournament crown. Tournament MVP and freshman, JJ Sweat lead the charge in the circle with two tournament wins. The Vikings will take their fifth consecutive national tournament appearance at Belhaven in Jackson, Mississippi, matched up against Georgia foe, Emory (25-12). The teams met up earlier this season at the end of February to split contests in Atlanta.
Trinity is headed to their first NCAA tournament since 2007. The Tigers earned the No.1 seed and the status of Regular Season Champions of the SAA after an outstanding season with a 30-11-1 record and 14-4 in conference play. Trinity is led by three SAA All-tournament stars in Megan Kriechbaum (SAA Pitcher of the Year), Hannah Boudreaux, and Josephine Koelewyn. The Tigers will face Huntindon College (31-10) at host Texas Lutheran.
