CANTON, Ga. - The Trinity Men's Soccer team takes No. 2 nationally in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll for 2026.
The Tigers enter the 2026 season as last year’s national runner-up, following a heartbreaking overtime loss in the national championship match. Trinity finished the 2025 campaign with a remarkable 20-2-1 overall record while going undefeated in conference play.
The Tigers were dominant throughout the NCAA Tournament, recording five consecutive shutouts before ultimately conceding a goal in the national championship match. Along the way, Trinity defeated No. 2 Augsburg, No. 6 Emory, and No. 12 Washington University en route to the national championship game in Salem, Virginia.
Trinity will look to build on its historic 2025 campaign when the Tigers take the field for the first time this season on Tuesday, September 1, against Texas Lutheran in San Antonio, Texas.
