CANTON, Ga. - Rhodes athletes sweep week three athlete of the week honors for the Collegiate Field Hockey Conference.

Athletes of the Week
Offense:
Bella Spina | Rhodes | SR | Voohees, NJ  – Spina led the Rhodes attack across three games, scoring four goals while providing a consistent offensive presence for the Lynx. The senior was also instrumental in leading Rhodes’ press, creating pressure and helping generate attacking opportunities throughout the week. Spina’s combination of goal-scoring production and relentless pressure made her a key part of the Lynx offense across all three contests.

Defense:
Zoë Dzialowski | Rhodes | JR | Coppell, TX – Dzialowski anchored the Rhodes defensive effort during a 2-1 week, playing nearly every minute across all three contests. The junior controlled play from the back, helping the Lynx maintain possession and organize their defensive structure. Dzialowski also played an important role in initiating the Rhodes attack from the defensive end, consistently helping transition the Lynx from defense into offense. Her presence in the backfield was instrumental throughout the three-game stretch.
 

 Notable Performances:

Offense
  • Abbie Woolley | Centre  – Abbie Woolley brought the offensive pressure this past saturday against Kenyon with a 2 goal from 2 shots on goal performance as well as an assist to help the colonels take the 3-2 win. 
  • Catherine Crane | Sewanee | JR | Houston, TX  – Catherine Crane had a standout performance in Sewanee’s 3-0 victory over Division II Maryville University, contributing to all three of the Tigers’ goals. Crane opened the scoring with a goal in the second quarter before adding her second goal of the game in the fourth quarter to extend Sewanee’s lead. She then assisted Maggie Hazelrigg on the Tigers’ final goal of the afternoon. Crane currently leads the Tigers with eight goals and one assist this season.
Defense
  • Hannah Lange | Centre | SR | Louisville, KY  –Hannah lange had a stellar defense performance on saturday against Kenyon, with a total of three defensive saves through otu the game to keep the colonels with the lead. 
  • Parks Cawthray | Concordia | SR | Oakville, Ontario  – Posted a season-high 13 saves against Denison on Sunday afternoon. 
  • Ryleigh Cabral | Sewanee | SO | Parkton, MD – Ryleigh played an outstanding game today against Maryville and recorded her first shutout of the season and her collegiate career. She played all 60 minutes in the cage for us. She faced 14 shots, with 6 on cage and recorded 6 saves.
