Jackson Hiller | Oglethorpe | SR | Vero Beach, FL - Oglethorpe senior Jackson Hiller made a huge move on day two, climbing 13 spots, to nab a 12th-place finish at this week's NCAA Championships Preview. The event, on the site of the upcoming spring national championship as serving as the fall preview, featured an elite field with many of the nation's top-25 programs in attendance. Hiller led the Stormy Petrels to ninth overall with his 3 under par effort across 54 holes.
Andre Follmer | Trinity | SO | Austin, TX - Follmer led the 15th-ranked Trinity men's golf team to a tie for 12th as a team and he also tied for 12th individually by shooting -3 over the three rounds of play at the par-71 course at the NCAA D3 Fall Preview at Kingsmill. Follmer played his last two rounds under par including a bogey-free round of 65 to finish the first day of play, carding six birdies over the final 18 holes.
Niel Phillips | Sewanee | JR | New Orleans, LA - Niel Phillips led Sewanee at the NCAA Fall Preview at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va., finishing tied for 12th among the field. Phillips opened the tournament with an even-par 71 before firing a five-under 66 in the second round, his lowest round of the tournament. He followed with a two-over 73 in the final round to finish at three-under 210 for the tournament. Phillips helped the Tigers finish tied for seventh at the NCAA Fall Preview.
