Atlanta, Ga. – After a jam packed Thanksgiving holiday week, undefeated Centre remains atop the early season SAA standings. The Colonels are 5-0 on the year while Millsaps and Oglethorpe are both 5-1.

Athletes of the Week:
Keimarya Rivera | Oglethorpe | Sophomore | Canton, Ga. – led Oglethorpe to a win over LaGrange, the Stormy Petrels fourth in a row. The returning SAA Newcomer of the Year tallied 28 points on 12-of-26 shooting from the field and hauled in a game-high 14 rebounds, seven on each end of the floor. Rivera also tallied two steals and two assists in the game.
Notable Performances:
- Garin Freeman (Millsaps) – helped the Majors secure a pair of wins in the Millsaps Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend. Freeman averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals, while shooting 11-of-18 from the floor and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free-throw line.
- Makya Grinter (Centre) – tallied 18 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals in the Colonels win over Hanover.
- Simone Shields (Hendrix) - posted a season-high 19 points and five rebounds while shooting 80% from the field to lead the Warriors in their comeback win over Austin College on Sunday at the Millsaps Thanksgiving Classic in Jackson, Miss. It was her second-consecutive game with double-figures after tallying 10 points versus Centenary (La.) the previous day.
- Montana Harris (Birmingham-Southern) - led her team by putting up back-to-back 20-point performances on the weekend. On Friday, she scored 20 points and had 8 rebounds with a steal against Piedmont. On Saturday against Huntingdon, she had 20 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a steal. She also shot 16-34 from the field including 8-11 from the free throw line.
