CANTON, Ga. – Five SAA women’s golf teams played across two events last week as the fall season winds down. Rhodes led a conference quartet at the Golfweek October Fall Invitational in Destin, Florida, finishing 12
th. Centre was three strokes behind the Lynx in 14
th, Sewanee finished 18
th and Oglethorpe 24
th. Millsaps participated in the Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational, taking eighth place.
In the first NCAA Division III national ranking of the season, Centre checked in at No. 13 and Rhodes No. 24 to highlight the SAA. Individually, the Colonels Grace Walker is ranked No. 25.

Annie Piggott | Millsaps | Senior | Lindsay, Ontario - led the Majors at the FHU Fall Invitational with her second first-place showing of her collegiate career after completing two rounds at plus-9 (77-76—153), Monday and Tuesday. She earned the win by clearing the field by a stroke on the challenging Chickasaw Golf Course in Henderson, Tenn. Piggott secured four birdies, all in Round Two, and sank a clutch birdie shot on a par-4, 18th hole.

Jane Stilz (Sewanee) - shot a four-over 76 on Tuesday for the Sewanee women’s golf team at the Golfweek October Classic, held at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Fla. The Lexington, Ky., native rebounded from a tough second round after opening with an even-par 72 on the first day. She finished the tournament with a 54-hole total of 229, tying for 44th. Stilz tallied 30 pars and 7 birdies during the event, with rounds of 72-81-76 (+13).
