CANTON, Ga.  – The Southern Athletic Associaiton named Parker Tenent Jr. the week four Golf Athelte of the Week.

Athletes of the Week:
Parker Tenent Jr. | Rhodes | FR | Memphis, TN – Freshman Parker Tenent Jr. delivered a standout performance at the West Pines Collegiate (Oct. 6–7, 2025) in Douglasville, Georgia, helping Rhodes College capture the team title at 6-under par. Competing on a challenging West Pines Golf Club layout, Tenent opened the tournament with a blistering 5-under 66, highlighted by eight birdies and matching 33s on the front and back nines to sit near the top of the leaderboard. He followed with a steady even-par 71 in Round 2 and closed strong with a 1-under 70 in the final round to finish at 6-under 207, securing 2nd place individually and earning All-Tournament Team honors. The Memphis native and Westminster Academy product demonstrated impressive consistency and maturity for a freshman, recording 15 birdies across three rounds and ranking among the event’s top scorers in par-3 and par-4 scoring. Tenent’s performance anchored the Lynx lineup as Rhodes claimed the team championship by a comfortable margin.


Notable Performances:
  • Carter Code | Trinity | SR | Calgary, Alberta, Canada – Code led the 12th-ranked Trinity University men's golf team to a victory at its inaugural Carla Spenkoch Invitational this week, rallying from an 11-shot deficit heading into the final day's round to win the tournament. Code also won the individual title after shooting a six-under score of 207 (69-68-70). All three of his rounds were under par at the par-71 course and he edged out a teammate by one shot to earn medalist honors. Code birdied two of his final five holes to help Trinity reel in LeTourneau and tie for the top spot, then the Tigers won the tiebreaker to clinch the title.
