CANTON, Ga. – Millsaps was the first SAA softball team to get its season underway with the Majors visiting Blue Mountain College on Saturday. Millsaps dropped game on 6-1 and fell in the second game 4-3.
Berry, Rhodes, and Millsaps will all be in action the second weekend of February with Sewanee, Centre, and Hendrix all getting started by Valentine’s Day.

Brynn Arena | Millsaps | First Year | Prairieville, La – had a quality offensive showing in her collegiate debut in Game Two at Blue Mountain on Saturday. She led the Majors offensively, batting 2-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base. The Toppers claimed a narrow 4-3 win in late innings.
Pitcher:
Hailey Peterson | Millsaps | First Year | Metairie, La. – pitched a quality game at Blue Mountain Christian on Saturday. In her collegiate debut in the circle, she pitched 6.0 innings and one strikeout in her collegiate debut in the circle, only giving up two walks in five scoreless innings. The Toppers narrowly bested the Majors, 4-3 in late innings. Peterson added a double and fielded third base in the opening game on Saturday.
