Track:
Tatum Duncan | Rhodes | FR – Freshman Tatum Duncan turned in an outstanding performance at the Vanderbilt Invitational, running a personal-best 58.98 in the women’s 400 meters against a deep field of mostly Division I competitors. Duncan finished 29th showcasing her ability to compete on a major stage while continuing to make big strides early in her collegiate career. Her time currently ranks her as the No. 1 400-meter runner in the SAA, highlighting both her conference-leading speed and her growing impact for the Lynx.
Field:
Serena McNeilly | Centre | JR | Radcliff, KY – Serena McNeilly competed in the pentathlon at the Vanderbilt Invitational and had a fantastic day as she finished fifth out of 23 competitors (mostly D1) while breaking a pair of program records in the process. She cleared 1.76 meters (5-9.25) in the high jump to break her previous school record in the event by a quarter of an inch and to top the field in the pentathlon. Later that day, McNeilly posted a new personal best mark in the long jump, finishing up at 5.73 meters (18-9.5) to finish second in that event. After five events, McNeilly had accumulated 3,560 total points, which was the second record to fall, as she eclipsed her prior record in the pentathlon by nearly 200 points. Coming out of that meet, McNeilly was ranked first in all of Division III in the pentathlon, second in the high jump and sixth in the long jump.
Track Notable Performances:
- Arianna Shirak | Sewanee | SO | Raleigh, NC – Arianna Shirak turned in a strong performance at the KMS Invitational, highlighted by a record-setting run to open the 2026 indoor season. Shirak placed 10th in the 200 meters with a time of 27.26, setting a new school record in the event. She also moved into Sewanee’s all-time lists, ranking fourth all-time in the 60 meters (8.23), continuing to establish herself as one of the program’s top sprinters.
- Emerson Voldan | Trinity | SO | Arlington, TX – Emerson Voldan took second in the women's mile in an indoor PR of 5:12.53, moving her up one spot on Trinity's all-time list to second.
Field Notable Performances:
- Avery Jones | Berry | SR | Flowery Branch, GA – Jones opened up her senior season with her second best throw of her career. She threw 15.59m which is the farthest throw in the SAA so far this season and ranks #5 in the South Region.
- Eleanor Scott | Millsaps | SR | Clinton, MS – Millsaps women's track and field senior jumper Eleanor Scott set another school record with a strong performance at the 2026 Samford Open on Saturday. Scott finished 15th in the indoor triple jump, covering 10.37 meters (34' 0.25").
- Isabella Gaylord | Trinity | FR | San Antonio, TX – Gaylord took seventh in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.04m at the McNeese Indoor Meet on Friday, moving her into a tie for sixth in program history.
