CANTON, Ga.  – Elyse Warren captures her second athlete of the week honor after a historic week breaking the program's career rebound record.

Athlete of the Week:
Elyse Warren | Millsaps | SR | Memphis, TN – Millsaps women's basketball center Elyse Warren had a historic week, helping the Majors secure two wins in Texas. Warren averaged 16.5 points, 17.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and one block, helping best Austin College (63-55) on Wednesday and LeTourneau University (76-67) on Thursday. She became the program's career rebounding leader with her fifth rebound against the YellowJackets. The game featured Warren's third career 20-rebound performance as she finished the contest with 881 career boards.
 
Notable Performances:
  • Lilly Reid | Centre | JR | Mount Washington, KY – Lilly Reid put on an impressive two-game stretch over the week, showcasing her strengths on both sides of the court. She led the way offensively with a total of 41 points, while creating opportunities for her teammates with 12 assists. Her efforts on the glass added up to 9 rebounds; she was disruptive defensively with 6 steals and 1 block, highlighting a well-rounded and complete performance. 
  • Keimarya Rivera | Oglethorpe | SR | Canton, GA –Oglethorpe senior Keimarya Rivera had a busy week with a three-game homestand in the TownePlace Suites Classic and filled up the stat sheet in all three games. She started the week with a double-double, her third of the year, in a win over Pacific. She then turned in 13 points and seven rebounds in the only loss of the week, a close result against No. 9 Hope. Finally, she finished the week with another near double-double in just 18 minutes of action due to the Stormy Petrels having the win over Kalamazoo all but secured by the halftime break.
  • Neela Castillo | Southwestern | FR | Kyle, TX – Freshman Neela Castillo helped lead the Pirates to a perfect 2–0 week with wins over Concordia University and University of Dallas, opening the week with a career-high 26 points on 8-of-15 shooting, including 5-of-9 from three, while adding eight rebounds, five assists, and three blocks against the Tornados. She followed with a double-double versus the Crusaders, scoring 15 points on 50 percent shooting with 10 rebounds, two assists, and five steals, showcasing her all-around impact in both victories.
