CANTON, Ga.  – The Collegiate Field Hockey Conference has named the Athletes of the Week for week five in the 2025 campaign.

Athletes of the Week:
Offense:
Olivia Vonderheide | Centre | FR | Louisville, KY – Olivia Vonderheide tallied 3 goals and 2 assists in Centre's weekend games against Eastern Mennonite and Randolph-Macon, giving her direct involvement on 5 of the Colonels' 7 goals.
 
Defense:
Miriam Hussaini | Sewanee | FR | Houston, TX – Miriam Hussaini anchored the Tigers in goal, playing all 120 minutes across the two contests and tallying 12 saves. She turned away seven of eight shots on goal against Roanoke and added five more saves on 10 attempts faced versus nationally ranked Lynchburg. In her freshman campaign, Hussaini has already faced 64 shots and recorded 40 saves.
 

 
Offense Notable Performances:
  • Charlie Coln | Concordia | FR | St. Louis, MO  – Scored the game-winning goal in the 80th minute in a double-overtime 1-0 victory over Marian.
  • Catherine Crane | Sewanee | SO | Houston, TX – Catherine Crane delivered both of Sewanee’s goals over the weekend. She scored the game-winner against Roanoke, taking three shots—all on target—and accounting for a third of the Tigers’ total attempts. Against No. 21 Lynchburg, Crane netted Sewanee’s lone goal, finishing off the Tigers’ first offensive opportunity of the match on a corner play..

Defense Notable Performances:
  • Eliza Hensley | Centre | FR | Louisville, KY – Eliza Hensley tallied 13 saves in Centre's 3-2 loss at Randolph-Macon on Sunday, including 9 in the first quarter alone to keep the Colonels in the game.
  • Parks Cawthray | Concordia | JR | Oakville, Ontario – Collected 14 saves in a double-overtime 1-0 victory over Marian on Sunday.
  • Emilee Clarey | Marian | JR | New Harford, NY – Junior Emilee Clarey earned another pair of wins to keep Marian a perfect 6-0 on the season.  Clarey stopped a season-high five saves to defeat Nazareth in overtime.  On the weekend, she allowed just one goal.
