Offense:
Emily Ritchie | Centre | SR | Charlotte, NC – Emily Ritchie scored a hat trick in Centre's 4-0 win at Kenyon on Saturday. She followed that up with another goal in a 6-1 loss at Ohio Wesleyan on Sunday. The four goals already surpassed her season totals for each of the last three years. She scored 3 goals in each of her first 3 seasons at Centre. Her 9 points through 4 games are already more than she had in each of her first 2 full years (8).
Defense:
Carlijn van der Bend | Concordia | SO | Voorburg, Netherlands – Carlijn posed three saves in the 1-0 shutout against Washington and Jefferson for a win.
Offense Notable Performances:
- Katie Quirke | Concordia | SR | Antioch, IL – Scored the lone goal in the 58th minute of the 1-0 victory at Washington & Jefferson.
- Charlotte Touw | Marian | FR | Utrecht, Netherlands – Freshman Charlotte Touw had a five-point weekend as Marian earned road wins over Wooster and Kenyon. She opened the weekend with three assists in a 4-1 win over Wooster. She then scored the lone goal of a 1-0 victory over Kenyon in overtime. Through three games, she has two goals and five assists.
- Grayson Scott | Mary Washington | SR | King George, VA – Senior forward Grayson Scott scored the tying goal with just eight seconds left in regulation, as Mary Washington remained undefeated with a 2-1 overtime win at Bridgewater College on Wednesday night.
- Catherine Crane | Sewanee | SO | Houston, TX – Catherine Crane scored both of Sewanee’s goals on Sunday against Bridgewater as they came away with a 2-1 overtime win. The sophomore registered Sewanee’s first goal in the opening two minutes of play off an assist from Shepard Ramsey. She found the back of the cage again in the 63rd minute to secure the Sewanee win. Crane took five shots, with her two on frame being goals.
Defense Notable Performances:
- Emilee Clarey | Marian | JR | New Hartford, NY – Junior Emilee Clarey stayed perfect on the season leading Marian past Wooster and Kenyon. Clarey made two saves in each victory for the Sabres.
