Track:
Amari Robinson | Centre | SO | Franklin, TN - Amari Robinson had an excellent day of sprints for the Centre women at the Centre Twilight. Robinson posted times of 12.08 in the 100m, 25.84 in the 200m and 47.57 as part of the 4x100m relay, with the 100m time representing a new personal best mark. Robinson currently ranks second in the SAA in both the 100m and 4x100m relay.
Field:
Shelbi Valentine | Centre | SO | Louisville, KY - Shelbi Valentine had a pair of personal best marks for the Colonels at the Centre Twilight as she threw 141-11 (43.25m) in the hammer and later won the shot put with a mark of 43-4.25 (13.21m). Both throws moved Valentine up the standings on the SAA performance list, as she currently ranks third in the league in the shot put and fifth in the hammer.
Track:
- Abigail Armstrong | Sewanee | JR | Richmond, VA - Abigail Armstrong won the 800 meters, leading the Sewanee women’s track and field to a fourth-place finish at the Mountain Laurel Invitational on Saturday, running a 2:29.31.
