CANTON, Ga. – The fall season came to a close last week with four teams playing in two different tournaments. Millsaps traveled to the University of Dallas Crusader Cup, finishing third among eight teams. Berry hosted the Chick-fil-A Invitational at Stonebridge Golf Club in Rome. Sewanee finished third at the event while the Vikings were third and Oglethorpe came in 11
th.

Sydney Bowes | Berry | Senior | Bluffton, S.C. - finished seventh overall in the Vikings host Chick-Fil-A Invitational. In round one she shot a 77 (+4) and the next day shot a 78 (+5) with two birdies. Bowes was the leader on the Vikings squad, helping them rise and finish in 6th overall
Payton Burch | Sewanee | Sophomore |Elgin, S.C. - carded rounds of 77-78, tying for seventh among 82 players at the Chick-fil-A Invitational in Rome, Ga. The sophomore collected four birdies in the first round, including three of the first four holes, and added four more birdies in the second round, with three of those on the back nine to push her into a tie for seventh. The Tigers finished third among 15 teams, ahead of league opponents Berry and Oglethorpe.
Notable Performances:
Annie Piggott (Millsaps) – carded a plus-14 (77-81—158) to finish third at the Crusader Cup in Texas on Tuesday. Piggott finished with three birdies on the 6,040-yard Hawks Creek Golf Club course. The Lindsay, Ontario, Canada, product also earned her 10th career collegiate top-10 finish.
