CANTON, Ga. - SAA volleyball teams closed their conference seasons over the weekend and will play a nonconference slate before the postseason tournament, November 15-17.
Centre had already wrapped up the regular season title and split games over the weekend, falling to Berry in five and sweeping Oglethorpe. The Vikings have won three in a row and are the No. 2 seed while Millsaps, also winners of three-straight, are the No. 3 seed.

OFFENSIVE:
Ally Baer | Millsaps | Junior | Pace, Fla. – enjoyed a strong weekend to close the conference slate. In wins over Rhodes and Hendrix, she hit .400 with 24 kills. Over the eight sets, the junior committed just two errors. She scored 20 points in the Majors win over Rhodes, to go along with eight block assists, and 15 against Hendrix.
DEFENSIVE:
Sandy Bourgeois | Millsaps | Sophomore | Luling, La. – led the Majors to a pair of road wins that closed the conference season on a high note. The sophomore totaled 44 digs in the two matches, posting 17 in three sets against Rhodes and 27 in a five-set victory over Hendrix. Bourgeois also added a pair of service aces.
Notable Performances:
- Lindsey MacDiarmid (Berry) - led the Vikings to a 2-0 record against SAA opponents this weekend. She recorded two match-high performances: 45 assists vs. Sewanee and 44 against Centre. She added 3 kills, 5 aces, 5 blocks and 16 digs on the weekend.
- Syd Bietz (Centre) - had the best weekend out of the Centre hitters during the final week of conference play in the regular season. On Saturday against Berry, Bietz finished with a game high 18 kills, her second highest total in a game this season. She followed that up with eight more kills in a win over Oglethorpe on Sunday. She also had a solid hitting percentage in both games, hitting .275 against Berry and .250 against Oglethorpe.
- Riley Brady (Hendrix) - had another double double this weekend against MMillsaps. She hit .346 and had 19 digs while also recording four aces. She earned 3.4 points/set for the match.
- June Padilla (Centre) - averaged nearly six digs per set in a pair of games for Centre volleyball this weekend. She finished with game highs of 31 digs in five sets against Berry and 14 digs in three sets against Oglethorpe, giving her 45 for the week.
- Keira Kruk (Berry) - posted two double-doubles helping the Vikings go 2-0 against SAA opponents this weekend. She recorded a team-high 21 digs in a 3-2 victory over top-seeded Centre and added 13 against Sewanee. She also added 5 aces, 27 kills and hit .287.
