Athletes of the Week:
Offense:
Greyson Pinto | Southwestern | SR | Plano, TX – Pinto had another big game in the 5-0 statement victory over Sewanee in the Pirates lone match of the week. The senior scored twice in only 59 minutes played. The first goal came on Pinto beating his defender and slotting a powerful shot from the 18 past the keeper to set the tone. Pinto extended the lead to three on a leaping header, jumping well beyond his defender. Pinto has career highs in goals this season with five and 16 points total. Pinto has three goals in the past two SAA matches with both game winners.
Defense:
Raghav Sharma | Southwestern | SR | Austin, TX – Sharma played another massive role in the dominant 5-0 win over Sewanee on Saturday in the lone game of the week. The center back held the Tigers to only three shots on goal in another shutout. The Pirates are tied for second in the nation with nine shutouts on the season as Sharma plays a massive part. The senior also got involved on offense with the second goal against the Tigers in the 5-0 route while playing all 90 minutes. Sharma is tied for first on the team in goals with five.

- Max Albertson | Berry | SR | Woodstock, GA – Alberston helped lead the Vikings offense in a 3-1 win over Millsaps as he recorded one goal and one assist.
- Shama Shasha | Oglethorpe | SO | Dunwoody, GA – Oglethorpe's Shama Shasha netted his second goal of the year in a crucial moment to help Oglethorpe secure a come-from-behind road win over Rhodes in the only game of the week. It came in the 90th minute with roughly 45 seconds to go in a 1-1 game, breaking the deadlock and sending the Stormy Petrels to their first SAA win of the season.
- Samuel Theiss | Trinity | JR | Boerne, TX – Theiss led sixth-ranked Trinity to a convincing 5-0 SAA win over Centre College in the team's only game last week. Theiss buried the eventual game-winner in the 13th minute of play against the Colonels, then added an assist in the 25th minute that put the Tigers up 3-0. He has scored nine goals in 11 games this season, with this weekend's score being his first game-winning goal of the year.
Defense
- Cherry Cooper | Berry | JR | Canton, GA – Cherry helped lead the Vikings defense in a 3-1 win over Millsaps as he played all 90 minutes recording four saves.
- Sebastian Lewis | Oglethorpe | FR | Rowell, GA – Oglethorpe's Sebastian Lewis, after conceding an early goal at Rhodes in the only match of the week, locked it down for the final 60 minutes to help Oglethorpe come from behind to pick up its first SAA win of the season, 2-1. Lewis tallied four saves, all of which came after the halftime break.
- Luke Chandler | Trinity | SR | Glasgow, Scotland – Chandler led the sixth-ranked Trinity men's soccer team to a decisive 5-0 shutout win over Centre College on Saturday. In addition to limiting the Colonels to just one shot over the 90-minute contest, Chandler also scored a goal in the 20th minute that put the Tigers up 2-0 at the time.
