CANTON, Ga. – Millsaps sweeps the final week of accolades with three taking athlete of the week honors. Grant Bizjack earns his fifth and Connor Babin brings in his third. This marks the first ever sweep of the SAA football weekly awards for Millsaps.

Offensive:
Grant Bizjack | Millsaps | FR | Trophy Club, TX – Millsaps football freshman quarterback Grant Bizjack posted a solid performance, helping the Majors down Sewanee, 34-20 during Senior Day on Saturday. He totaled 355 yards of offense by completing 15-of-23 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown, adding a career-best 161 rushing yards on 17 carries.
Defensive:
Nate Johnson | Millsaps | JR | Schriever, LA – Millsaps football junior defensive lineman Nate Johnson was a force in the Majors' 34-20 win over Sewanee during Senior Day on Saturday. Johnson led the defense with seven tackles, one sack, an interception and forced a fumble. His sack forced a fumble in the second quarter, while his interception with just over two minutes remaining sealed the victory.
Special Teams:
Connor Babin | Millsaps | SO | Fulshear, TX – Millsaps football sophomore kicker Connor Babin was terrific, powering the Majors to a 34-20 triumph over Sewanee during Senior Day on Saturday. Babin was perfect converting two field goals of 26 and 28 yards, while connecting on all four extra-point attempts. He added seven kickoffs that traveled 423 yards (60.4-yard average).

Offense
- Christian Lewis | Berry | SR | Calhoun, GA – Lewis led the Viking offense with a season-high 239 passing yards and also tied his career-high with 4 touchdowns through the air. He was also efficient, completing 19 of 26 passes to keep the Vikings out of third down situations on the way to a 49-7 victory.
- Sean Johnson | Sewanee | SO | Nashville, TN – Johnson posted career-highs for receptions and yards in Saturday's loss at Millsaps, registering nine catches for 209 yards. He registered 55 and 56-yard gains on passes in the second quarter as well as receptions for 26 and 27 yards in the fourth period.
- Collin Bishop | Trinity | SR | Childress, TX –Bishop led the 22nd-ranked Trinity football team to a 31-14 Southern Athletic Association road win over Maryville College (TN) to close out the regular season and clinch second place in the final conference standings. Bishop paced the rushing attack for the Tigers, carrying 17 times for 71 yards and two touchdowns.
Defense
- Carver Cole | Berry | SR | Highland, UT –A senior linebacker from Highland, Utah Carver led a Vikings defense that allowed just one touchdown as the Vikings scored 49 unanswered points to win 49-7. Carver led the Vikings defense with 10 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack in the shutdown performance.
- TJ Scannell | Trinity | SR | San Antonio, TX – Scannell led the 22nd-ranked Trinity football team to a 31-14 Southern Athletic Association road win over Maryville College (TN) to close out the regular season schedule on Saturday afternoon. Scannell finished with a team-leading 13 tackles that included seven solo stops, a tackle for loss, and a forced fumble. He has had double digit tackles each of the last two games and has recorded 10 or more stops three times total this season.
Special Teams
- Cade Petty | Berry | SR | Chatsworth, GA – A senior line backer from Chatsworth, GA Petty led the Vikings special teams in a big 49-7 win over Southwestern. Petty blocked two more punts this week including one that was recovered in the endzone for a touchdown. Petty is tied for the lead in NCAA D3 with four blocked punts.
- Jackson Runyan | Trinity | SO | Frisco, TX – Runyan led 22nd-ranked Trinity University to a 31-14 road win over Maryville College (TN) on Saturday afternoon, finishing off the regular season schedule and finishing second in the Southern Athletic Association standings. Runyan connected on his first career field goal in the game, making it from 47 yards out to give Trinity a 17-0 lead at the time. He also averaged 38.0 yards on two punts, went 4-for-4 on extra-point tries, and also averaged just under 59 yards on six kickoffs.
