SAA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Report – March 17, 2025

CANTON, Ga.  – While a few SAA squads turned their attention to the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship, the outdoor season got underway. Berry hosted its Ice Breaker Duals in early March, Hendrix hosted its home invitational and Rhodes welcomed three squads to Memphis for the Lynx home event.

Track Athlete of the Week:
Fran Edwards | Millsaps | Senior | Little Rock, Ark. - set the program record in the 10,000 meters with a time of 40 minutes, 55.63 seconds at the Rhodes Invitational on Friday. She placed runner-up at the Wolfe Track and Field Complex.
 
Field Athlete of the Week:
Eleanor Scott | Millsaps | Junior | Clinton, Miss. - opened the season with a strong performance at the Rhodes Invitational. The Clinton, Miss., native finished third in the triple jump with a bound of 10.34 meters at the Wolfe Track and Field Complex on Friday.
