SAA Men’s Tennis Report – March 25, 2025

CANTON, Ga.  – Heading into the final weekend of March and the start of conference play, Rhodes tops the SAA with a record of 7-3. Oglethorpe sits at 6-3 while 23rd ranked Sewanee is 5-4.

Athletes of the Week:
SINGLES
Carson Chassaignac | Millsaps | Senior | Baton Rouge, La. - was victorious in two matches on Court 1 singles over the weekend, helping the Majors to two team victories. He bested a Belhaven opponent (6-1, 6-4) on Saturday and Southwest Mississippi Community College challenger (6-3, 6-4) on Sunday. 
 
DOUBLES:
Anderson Dulaney | Millsaps | Senior | Long Beach, Miss.
Sam Tuli | Millsaps | Junior | Oceans Springs, Miss.
secured identical 6-3 wins on Court 1 doubles over the weekend, helping the Majors to two team victories. The pair bested foes from Belhaven on Saturday and Southwest Mississippi Community College on Sunday. 
 
Notable Performances:
  • Dylan Dethridge (Centre) - earned the lone point for Centre in a loss to Virginia Wesleyan. The freshman won his singles match 6-4, 6-3 over Carlos R. Zarraga in the fifth slot. He is 6-1 in singles action this season.
