Athlete of the Week:
Elyse Warren | Millsaps | SR | Memphis, TN – Millsaps women's basketball center Elyse Warren had a historic and phenomenal week for the Majors in a pair of victories. She set the program and SAA single-game rebounding record with 33 boards in a 55-36 triumph at Rhodes on Saturday. Her rebounding total ranks most across NCAA Division III student-athletes this season and is tied for the most in DIII since Dec. 2018. Warren also tied a career-high 24 points to go along with two steals and an assist against the Lynx. The Memphis, Tenn., native averaged 24.5 rebounds and 19.5 points after posting 16 boards, 15 points, a steal and an assist in an 81-69 victory hosting the University of the Ozarks on Tuesday. She finished connecting on 55 percent of her field goals (17-of-31) in the two wins.
 
Notable Performances:
  • Lilly Reid | Centre | JR | Mount Washington, KY – Over the past three games, Lilly Reid has contributed 50 points, averaging 16.7 per game. She has also recorded 13 assists and 22 rebounds, demonstrating her effectiveness as both a playmaker and rebounder. Defensively, Reid tallied 8 steals and 2 blocks, underscoring her strong two-way performance.
  • Keimarya Rivera | Oglethorpe | SR | Canton, GA – Oglethorpe senior Keimarya Rivera earned all-tournament honors after leading the Stormy Petrels to a pair of wins in a road tournament at Sewanee last week. She put up her 30th career double-double, also her fourth of the season, with a stout stat line of 24 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks in a win over Berea. Then, she scored 23 points alongside four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals over Covenant.   
  • Olivia Falvey | Sewanee | SR | Boston, MA – Falvey posted 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in three contests for the Tigers. She registered 21 points, six boards and six assists in a win against Covenant and followed that with 17 points, three rebounds and two assists versus Berea College. She added 14 points and seven boards in the conference opener against Centre.
  • Livy Sauvageau | Trinity | SO | Houston, TX – Sauvageau led Trinity's women's basketball team to a 2-1 record over the past week, capped by a 94-74 win in the Southern Athletic Association opener against Southwestern University (TX). The Tigers also defeated the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (TX) 74-65 to sweep the season series, and the only setback came in a loss to 20th-ranked East Texas Baptist University. Sauvageau led Trinity in scoring in all three games this week, finishing with 19 points on 5-of-10 three-pointers in Monday's win over UMHB. After finishing with 12 points against ETBU, Sauvageau came back with her best scoring game of the week against Southwestern on Saturday night. She finished with 20 points on 7-of-10 from the field, including a perfect 6-of-6 three-point field goals. Sauvageau added four assists and four rebounds in just 21 minutes of action during a lopsided win.
