Athletes of the Week: 
Offense: 
Sally Herrington | Sewanee | SR | Richmond, VA - Sally Herrington was a perfect 6-for-6 in her first game of the season with three goals on three shots in both the Lake Forest and Wittenberg games this past week. She also chipped in an assist against Wittenberg. 

Defense: 
Maddie BeVier | Rhodes | JR | Burlington, CT - Maddie Bevier anchored the Lynx defense in a pair of games last week, finishing with a combined 9 ground balls and 6 caused turnoverswhile also contributing on the draw circle. In Rhodes’ 22–12 win over Meredith, Bevier was everywhere on the defensive end, recording 6 ground balls, 5 caused turnovers, and 3 draw controls, consistently disrupting Meredith’s offensive possessions and helping Rhodes force turnovers and regain possession. She followed that performance with 3 more ground balls and a caused turnover in a tightly contested overtime matchup at Lynchburg, continuing to create key defensive stops and transition opportunities for the Lynx.


Notable Performances:
Offense
  • Gracie Garner | Centre | SR | Louisville, KY - Gracie Garner led the offense with four goals and added three ground balls, making an impact on both ends of the field with her scoring and hustle in securing possessions.
  • Caroline Kardian | Rhodes | SR | Roswell, GA - Caroline Kardian provided a major offensive spark for the Lynx last week, totaling 4 goals and an assist across two games while also contributing heavily in possession play. Kardian recorded 2 goals and an assist in Rhodes’ 22–12 win over Meredith, while also controlling the draw with 14 draw controls, helping the Lynx dominate possession throughout the game. She followed that effort with two more goals in a narrow overtime battle at Lynchburg, continuing to provide timely scoring for Rhodes. Kardian made a particularly strong impact in the limited time she was able to play in Friday’s game, delivering key goals and offensive momentum for the Lynx when they needed it most.
Defense
  • Chrissy Krncevic | Centre | JR | Lakewood, OH - Chrissy Krncevic added a strong defensive effort, recording two caused turnovers to help disrupt the opposing offense.
  • Emma Steffensen | Sewanee | FR | Park City, UT - Emma Steffensen was 75% in the cage for the Tigers this week, with six saves against Lake Forest and three against Wittenberg. 
  • Hannah Colvin | Southwestern | SO | Las Vega, NV - Colvin had a busy week as the Pirates battled three strong squads in Suffolk, Ohio Northern, and Wooster. Colvin 41 saves on the week in three games with 11 ground balls.
