SAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Report – Nov. 18, 2024

CANTON, Ga.  – Sewanee was the only school in action last week, UT Southern on Saturday. The Tigers used their depth to post a 141-61 dual meet win.
 
The weekend before Thanksgiving will prove to be busy with all six teams in action. Berry and Sewanee will visit the site of the 2025 SAA Championship, swimming in the Centre Invitational with the Colonels. Millsaps, Hendrix, and Rhodes will travel to Cleveland, Mississippi for the Delta State Invitational.

Athletes of the Week:
SWIMMER: Andrew Olsen | Sewanee | First Year | Atlanta, Ga. - showcased his versatility and speed this week with standout performances in the pool, finishing with three first-place finishes. He led off the 200 Medley Relay with a 50 backstroke split of 24.44, the fourth-fastest time in the SAA this season. In individual events, Olsen dominated the freestyle sprints, winning the 50 Free in 22.07 (6th in SAA) and the 100 Free in 47.78, the second-fastest mark in the SAA.
