Athlete of the Week:
Olivia Falvey | Sewanee | SR | Boston, MA – Falvey averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in two games. She registered 15 points, 10 boards (second double-double of the season) and two assists versus Rhodes, making 7-of-10 at the foul line. She followed that with 24 points, six rebounds and three assists in a win against Millsaps, including three 3-pointers.
 
Notable Performances:
  • Elly Callihan | Berry | SR | Ellijay, GA – A senior from Ellijay, GA Callihan helped lead the Vikings to a big win over Southwestern on the road leading the way with 16 points and 8 rebounds on 60% shooting from the field. She then added 10 points and 8 rebounds in a loss to Trinity as she averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds over the two games.
  • Ka'Niah Edelen | Centre | JR | Louisville, KY – Ka’Niah Edelen put together an outstanding all-around performance this past weekend with a total of 28 points, 10 assists, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals, finishing just one rebound shy of a triple-double while impacting the game on both ends of the floor.
  • Elyse Warren | Millsaps | SR | Memphis, TN – Millsaps women's basketball senior center Elyse Warren posted another strong week for the Majors at Centre and Sewanee. She averaged 13.5 points and 17 rebounds in a pair of narrow defeats.
  • Keimarya Rivera | Oglethorpe | SR | Canton, GA – Oglethorpe senior Keimarya Rivera put up two double-digit scoring games, including a double-double, to lead the Stormy Petrels in their Texas trip over the weekend. Her 24 points and 13 rebounds against Trinity marked her fifth double-double of the season and 31st of her career. 
  • Avery Marsh | Rhodes – Avery Marsh delivered a strong all-around weekend for Rhodes, playing a central role in a road win at Sewanee and logging heavy minutes against Centre. In the 81–68 victory over Sewanee, Marsh led the Lynx with 19 points, adding 8 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks while shooting 50 percent from three-point range and directing the offense for all 39 minutes. She followed with a gritty performance against Centre, playing 38 minutes while contributing across the stat sheet and consistently taking on primary ball-handling and defensive responsibilities.
  • Trinity Benitez | Southwestern | JR | Lipan, TX – Junior Trinity Benitez delivered a productive weekend for the Pirates, averaging 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in two starts. She opened the weekend with 16 points, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 6-of-8 at the free-throw line, while grabbing seven rebounds and recording three steals in 37 minutes against Berry. Benitez followed with 15 points in just 23 minutes, going 5-of-7 from the floor and 5-of-6 at the line, while adding six rebounds and two assists versus Oglethorpe. She finished the weekend with 31 points, 13 rebounds, and shot an efficient 66.7% (10-of-15) from the field which helped the Pirates go 1-1 for the weekend.
  • Kylie Minter | Trinity | SR | League City, TX – Minter led the Tiger women's basketball team to a pair of home wins in SAA play this weekend, defeating Oglethorpe 77-71 on Friday night, and then taking down Berry 72-54 on Sunday to remain unbeaten after the first two weeks of conference action. Minter scored 15 points in each game this weekend, shooting 50% (12-of-24) from the field while also adding a total of six assists and seven rebounds across the two games.
