Athletes of the Week:
Offense:
Ryan Black | Centre | SR | Duluth, GA – Ryan Black led the way with a strong offensive showing, tallying 6 goals and 1 assist while consistently pressuring the defense. He also added 1 ground ball, contributing to possession and helping keep his team in control throughout the game.
Defense:
Flynn Bowman | Sewanee | SR | Chestertown, MD – Flynn Bowman recorded 31 saves across two games for the Tigers this weekend, posting a 60 percent save percentage between the pipes. He made a career-high 18 saves against Colorado College and added 11 ground balls on the weekend. In conference play against Southwestern, Bowman tallied 13 saves with a 65 percent save percentage.

Offense
- Michael Beirne | Berry – Michael was outstanding offensively in wins against Oglethorpe and Southern Virginia. He scored a total of 6 goals, including his season-high of four against Southern Virginia, which proved to be the difference in a 10-7 victory. Beirne was also efficient in his shots on goal, converting 6-of-10 on the week. He also added a groundball in each game to round out his performances.
Defense
- Caleb Johnston | Berry – The faceoff specialist was dominant this past week, grabbing 3 groundballs on 6-6 in the faceoff circle as well as scoring a goal against Oglethorpe. He followed that up with a team-leading 8 ground balls and 9 faceoff wins in a 10-7 victory over Southern Virginia.
- Patrick Tatro | Centre | JR | Nashville, TN – Patrick Tatro made a major impact on both ends of the field, recording 5 caused turnovers and scooping up 7 ground balls to anchor the defensive effort. He also found the back of the net with 1 goal, capping off a well-rounded and high-energy performance.
