Atlanta, Ga. – SAA teams closed the regular season over the weekend, playing in events spread across six different states.
They will now turn their attention to the SAA Tournament, November 10-12 hosted by Berry. Two-seed Centre and seven-seed Oglethorpe will start the event on Friday at noon while three-seed Sewanee and six-seed Millsaps will clash at 2 p.m. The host Vikings start the evening session against Rhodes and four-seed Hendrix against five-seed Birmingham-Southern will close the first round.
Semifinal winners meet on Saturday evening with the championship game slated for 1pm on Sunday.

OFFENSIVE:
Yzzi Dsamou | Rhodes | First Year | Litchfield, Ariz. – Closed her first collegiate regular season with four standout performances at the Emory Invitational, tallying double-digit kills in each match. The first year started with 16 against Randolph-Macon and 12 against Emory later in the day. She started Saturday with 12 kills against Maryville before closing the regular season with 25 kills and a .257 hitting percentage.
DEFENSIVE:
Margaret Richardson | Millsaps | Senior | Pensacola, Fla. – Finished off the regular season with a big defensive effort for Millsaps in Texas. Over three matches, the senior totaled 68 digs, averaging 5.6 per set. She was especially huge on Saturday, grabbing 23 digs against Dallas and 26 against Austin.
Notable Performances:
- Emily Goddin (Centre) - recorded 28 kills across three games. She had one of the best days of her career in Saturday's doubleheader sweep, finishing with 12 kills on a .458 hitting percentage in a win over regionally ranked Christopher Newport, and then following that up with 11 kills while hitting .350 in beating Averett.
- Catalina Williams (Hendrix) - had a monster weekend hitting .300 vs DePauw and .368 vs #10 nationally ranked WASH U on 19 swings. She earned 2.14 kills/set on the weekend and 3.21 points/set.
- Taylor Bentley (Birmingham-Southern) - recorded eight kills and had a hitting percentage of .313 against seventh-ranked Emory. She also had an assist and a block with a total of 8.5 points. In the win against Berea, Taylor led the team in kills with 11 to go along with five blocks and had 13.5 points.
- Madi Barron (Centre) - made Centre history this weekend as she became the school's all-time leader in digs, reaching 1,634 for her career to establish a new program record. In three games, Barron averaged 6.3 digs per set and recorded 20 digs in consecutive games on Saturday to help the Colonels defeat Christopher Newport and Averett.
- Mary Addisyn Stubbs (Hendrix) - had 31 digs on the weekend in the Warriors sweep of DePauw and four set loss to No. 10 Wash U.
- Maggie Mathis (Rhodes) – Rolled up 64 digs over four matches, leading the Lynx to a split at the Emory Invitational. She had 20 each against Maryville and Berea, both victories, and also fired two service aces.
- Madison Williams (Birmingham-Southern) – recorded two blocks and had six total points against seventh-ranked Emory. She also recorded five kills and had a hitting percentage of .667. In the win vs. Berea, Madison had five blocks for the team lead and a total of 8.5 points in the regular season finale. She also recorded six kills and a hitting percentage of .417.
