Athletes of the Week:
Offense:
Isaac Rasheed | Sewanee | SO | Mount Pleasant, SC – Rasheed scored a goal in each match this weekend and added an assist in two outings for the Tigers. He tallied a goal in the 58th minute to give Sewanee a 2-0 lead versus Oglethorpe and netted the game-winner in the 55th minute against Berry. He added an assist in the 81st minute versus Berry and has five goals and four assists in 17 outings this season.
Defense:
Cooper Pero | Southwestern | JR | Tulsa, OK – Pero dominated the weekend scoring three goals and delivering two wins over Millsaps and Rhodes from the back line. The junior scored a beauty header from distance against Millsaps, along with a second goal in the first half for his first multi-goal game of his career. Pero scored another header goal on Sunday against Rhodes which proved to be the game-winner to keep the Pirates undefeated overall and in SAA play. Pero contributed defensively to an 11th shutout on Friday which marked a school record for the Pirates defense. The accomplishments continued as Pero and the Pirates tied the wins record on Sunday with 14.

Offense
- Zeke Saviello | Centre | SR | Atlanta, GA – Zeke Saviello scored his first 2 goals of the season in a span of 4 minutes, 8 seconds in the 2nd half as Centre picked up a much-needed win, 4-1, over Oglethorpe on Sunday.
- Greyson Pinto | Southwestern | SR | Plano, TX – Pinto notched one goal and two assists on the weekend with wins against Millsaps and Rhodes. Pinto scored a penalty kick on Friday and assisted on a long throw in. Pinto also assisted on the opening goal against Rhodes
- Alex Baltov | Trinity | SO | Shreveport, LA – Baltov led the sixth-ranked Trinity University men's soccer team to home wins against Rhodes College (TN) and Millsaps College (MS) in Southern Athletic Association play this weekend. Baltov scored the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Rhodes on Friday night, while also helping the Tigers to the shutout win.
Defense
- Martin Cortez | Centre | JR | Santa Rosa, CA – In 2 games over the weekend, Martin Cortez stopped 5 of 7 shots against Berry and Oglethorpe, including 2 saves in Centre's 4-1 win over Oglethorpe on Sunday.
- Jonah Cooker | Sewanee | FR | Charleston, SC – Cooker was all the field in Sewanee's two victories over the weekend, helping the Tigers allow just one combined goal and 11 shots. Sewanee gave up only two shots to Oglethorpe in a 3-0 victory and nine versus Berry in a 3-1 win. He assisted on an Isaac Rasheed score in the 58th minute versus Oglethorpe, giving the Tigers a 2-0 win. He has two assists while starting 16 matches this season.
- Luke Mayfield | Trinity | JR | Dallas, TX – Mayfield led the sixth-ranked Trinity University men's soccer team to a pair of home wins in SAA play this weekend, defeating Rhodes College (TN) 1-0 on Friday and taking a 3-1 win over Millsaps College (MS) on Sunday. In addition to holding Rhodes to just one shot-on-goal on Friday night, Mayfield also assisted on the game-winning goal. Mayfield and the Tiger defense limited Millsaps to just six total shots in the weekend finale.
