The Colonels lose high-point scorer Madjo Doumbia, but return a strong core of contributors including Serena McNeilly, Alexandria Masden, Gracie West, Chloe Hein, and Sophie Bouldin, among others.
Trinity joins the SAA this season and will compete in its first-ever Indoor Championship as a conference member. The Tigers graduated two Outdoor All-Americans in Danya Selber and Joy Areola, but enter the season fresh off an SCAC outdoor championship.
Berry was picked third in this season’s preseason poll following a close second-place finish in 2025. The Vikings saw strong field event performances from returning standouts Avery Jones and Onoyeme Egure. Egure earned All-American honors in the shot put and was named the SAA Field Athlete of the Year last season.
The 2026 SAA Indoor Track and Field Championship is slated for February 27-28 in Danville, Kentucky.
