CANTON, Ga. – With two weeks left until the SAA Championship at Sewanee, all seven SAA track and field teams were in action across three meets. Memphis was the site of the annual Rhodes 7-Way meet with the Lynx hosting Hendrix and Millsaps. Centre and Oglethorpe visited Berry for the Vikings annual Field Day and Sewanee competed at the Maryville Scots Invitational. Oglethorpe also sent a group of athletes to Cleveland, Tennessee for the Lee University Fast Break Athletics Invitational.

Track Athlete of the Week:
Anna Rose | Berry | Senior | Jackson, Calif. - won both the 1500m and the 800m at the Berry Field Day Invitational. Her winning time in the 1500m of 4:36.74 is a new lifetime PR and ranked #1 in the SAA and #3 in the South Region. Nationally, Rose is ranked 25
th in the 800 and 37
th in the 1500.
Field Athlete of the Week:
Serena McNeilly | Centre | Sophomore | Radcliff, Ky. – highlighted by the second best high jump performance in the nation so far this season, McNeilly had a standout heptathlon performance at Berry Field Day. The sophomore set a new Centre record with 4,404 points, ranking No. 11 in the nation. Her high jump bar of 1.72m broke a 35-year old Centre record and her 5.60m long jump ranked No. 29 in the nation.
Notable Performance:
- Erin Haugh (Centre) - had a fantastic meet this past weekend at the Berry Field Day Invite hosted by Berry College in Rome, GA. The talented senior competed in the 800 meter run matching her personal best with a 2:22 and finishing in second place among 47 women of all divisions. Erin also competed in the 1500 meter run performing a personal best 4:47 and finishing in third place out of 35 women of all divisions.
- Anna Cantrell (Hendrix) - broke through with a phenomenal performance in the 1500 this past weekend at the Rhodes 7-way Invitational. The sophomore ran 4:44.48 to place 1st overall in the event.
- Fiona Selders (Millsaps) - had a terrific performance competing in the Rhodes 7-Way Meet at Crain Field on Saturday. She now sits third in the program record book in the 200 meters after placing fourth (26.40). Selders is also fourth in the record book after securing ninth in the 400 meters (1:01.44).
- Riley Michaud (Oglethorpe) - ran a 29 second PR of 12:07 in the 3k Steeple for a 10th place finish at the Lee Fastbreak Invitational this Saturday. Her time places her at the top of the SAA conference rankings heading into the championship.
- Elizabeth Cook (Sewanee) - won the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Maryville Scots Invitational this weekend. She took home first in her first attempt at the race in 12:39.52, sixth-best in school history, and placing her fourth in the SAA.
- Avery Jones (Berry) - placed 2nd in the Shot Put at the Berry Field Day Invitational with a throw of 12.71m. That throw was a new lifetime PR by over 3.5 feet and is ranked #2 in the SAA and #4 in the South Region and #41 in the Nation. The mark places Jones #3 All-Time at Berry in the event.
- Bronwyn Adams (Hendrix) - had a stellar day in the discus at the Rhodes 7-way Invitational. The freshman launched a 37.70 meter throw to finish 5th overall.
- Eleanor Scott (Millsaps) - was excellent in the Rhodes 7-Way Meet at Crain Field on Saturday. She shined in the triple jump where she leapt to first place and 11.08 meters. Scott also finished seventh in the high jump (1.48m) and was 10th in the javelin (19.84m).
- Emory Rhodes (Sewanee) - won the pole vault, clearing 10-feet, 2-inches, second best in school history, and fourth in the SAA standings, at the Maryville Scots Invitational.
