CANTON, Ga. - Bigham of Sewanee brings in Athlete of the Week honors after a weekend of conference play, his third honor of the year.

Athlete of the Week:
Fletcher Bigham | Sewanee | JR | Charlotte, NC – Bigham averaged 20.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in two games for the Tigers. He posted 21 points, 10 boards and four assists versus Rhodes, hitting five 3-pointers. He registered 20 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and five blocks in a win versus Millsaps, adding three more triples. Bigham recorded his ninth and 10th double-doubles of the season and his sixth outing with at least 14 rebounds.
 
Notable Performances:
  • Nile King | Berry | SO - King averaged 17.5 points and 9 rebounds this past weekend in just his third game back in the lineup for Berry. The weekend was kicked off by an impressive 21 point, 12 rebound, and 4 assist game in a win 79-77 win over Southwestern, where Nile was the catalyst of the offense. His stellar play continued Sunday when he dropped 14 points and 6 rebounds against No. 24 Trinity. 
  • Carter Watkins | Oglethorpe | SO | Buford, GA – Oglethorpe guard Carter Watkins had two breakthrough games this weekend in the Stormy Petrels' road trip to Texas. After scoring eight points in a home game against No. 7 Emory, he started the road weekend with a career high 14 against No. 24 Trinity, then two days later nearly doubled his career high with a 25-point effort against Southwestern. 
  • Jackson Huxtable | Rhodes  – Jackson Huxtable delivered a dominant two-game stretch for Rhodes, leading the Lynx to road victories over Sewanee and Centre while serving as the primary offensive catalyst. He scored 22 points against Sewanee, adding five rebounds and four blocks, then followed with a game-high 21 points at Centre while shooting efficiently and helping fuel a second-half comeback in a 70–58 win. Across the week, Huxtable averaged 21.5 points per game, consistently scoring at the rim, defending multiple positions, and anchoring Rhodes on both ends of the floor.
  • Shobby Enakpene | Southwestern | SR | Midland, TX – Enakpene carried the offense down the stretch in the comeback victory over Oglethorpe. Down five with under a minute left, Enakpene converted a three-point play at the rim to cut the deficit to two. Next possession, he  hit a daggger game-winning three pointer with three seconds left to win 91-90. The senior scored 19 points in only 23 minutes on Friday against Berry, then had 23 points against Oglethorpe. 
  • Ben Estis | Trinity | SR | Southlake, TX – Estis led the Tiger men's basketball team to a pair of SAA victories at home this weekend, defeating Oglethorpe 102-74 and Berry 87-66 to remain undefeated after two weeks of conference play. Estis set a career high with 18 points in just 21 minutes against the Stormy Petrels on Friday night, hitting 5-of-7 from the floor and going 7-for-8 at the foul line and adding four assists. He was even better on Sunday afternoon against the Vikings, setting another career high with 21 points, five assists, and four rebounds - hitting 6-of-9 from the field, 3-for-4 three-pointers, and going a perfect 6-for-6 at the foul line.
