CANTON, Ga.  – Conference play for SAA softball teams will ramp up this week as schools continued to battle through tough nonconference slates. Berry is 13-5 and ranked No. 17 in the latest NFCA Division III national poll. Millsaps is 7-7 on the season and Rhodes 5-9 to round out the top-three in the league.

Athlete:
Lauren Cothern | Berry | Junior | Sugar Hill, Ga. – during a quick trip to Florida, Cothern hit .400 over two games. Against Lake Forest, the junior was 2-for-2 with five RBI behind the power of two home runs.
 
Pitcher:
Hannah Gore | Berry | Senior | Roswell, Ga. - moved to 6-1 on the season with a standout performance against Lake Forest in Florida. The senior threw five innings, allowing no runs and two hits while striking out seven. Gore did not allow a runner past second base the entire outing.
