CANTON, Ga. – Now in the final month of the regular season, three SAA women’s golf teams were in action last week. Millsaps traveled to the Eagles Bluff Intercollegiate, hosted by LeTourneau and finished fifth of 10 teams. Berry and Centre were in Richmond, Virginia for the Randolph-Macon Max and Susan Stith Invitational. The 17
th-ranked Colonels finished fourth and Berry took 15
th.
The 2025 SAA Men’s and Women’s Golf Championship is slated for April 25-27 at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tennessee.

Athletes of the Week:
Annie Piggott | Millsaps | Senior | Lindsay, Ontario – Captured her third individual medalist honor of the season, and second-straight, winning the LeTourneau hosted Eagles Bluff Intercollegiate. The senior turned in rounds of 74-73 that featured four chip-ins. She was tied for first after her 16th hole in round two, where she birdied the 17th and holed out from 36 yards to card an eagle on her 18th hole. Piggott used the dramatic finish to clear a Mary Hardin-Baylor foe by three strokes.
Notable Performances:
- Grace Walker (Centre) - was the top finisher in Centre's line-up at the nationally peppered Max and Susan Stith Invitational, landing in a tie for 14th with a completed score of 153 (75-78). After her two rounds, Walker ranked third in the tournament for her performance on par 3 holes, averaging 3.13 a round. After her first round, the senior ranked among the field's top four for par play with a grand total of 13.
- Sydney Bowes (Berry) - led the team in both rounds at the Max and Susan Stith Invitational. On day one at the Dominion Golf Club she shot an 80(+8) with on birdie and followed that up with a round of 82 (+10) on day two to close out the tournament.
