SAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Report – January 13, 2025

CANTON, Ga.  – With the first snow storm of 2025 canceling the Sewanee Tri-Meet, Centre was the lone SAA school back in the pool, hosting the Colonel Classic. On the men’s side, Centre finished second among six schools, totaling 806.5 points. Milligan won the event. The Colonels women won the weekend, racking up 1103 points to outdistance Milligan by 253 points.

Athletes of the Week:
SWIMMER: Katelynn Stanczyk | Centre | Junior | Murray, Ky. - led the way for the Colonel women as she was a member of all three relay wins and picked up a victory in the 200 freestyle in 1:59.26 at the Colonel Classic. The 200 freestyle relay was won in 1:40.10, 800 freestyle relay in 8:05.35, and 400 freestyle relay in 3:40.76.
 
DIVER: Erin Dannemiller | Centre | Sophomore | Cincinnati, Ohio - earned a diving win for the Colonels in the one-meter dive at the Colonel Classic. She tallied a score of 253.19.
