Athlete of the Week:
Fletcher Bigham | Sewanee | JR | Charlotte, NC – Fletcher Bigham led the Tigers to two conference wins this past weekend, averaging 31.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game. Against Berry, Bigham posted a career-high 40 points with 14 rebounds, surpassing 1,000 career points. He was 13-of-20 from the floor, 7-of-11 from three-point range, and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free-throw line, adding three blocks, one assist, and one steal to his standout performance. On Friday against Oglethorpe, he contributed 23 points and 13 rebounds, along with an assist and a steal. Bigham is currently shooting 49 percent from three-point range and 56 percent from the floor in conference games, averaging 23.6 points and 11.4 rebounds per game against SAA opponents.
 
Notable Performances:
  • Cameron Pope | Berry | JR | Canton, GA - A junior guard from Canton, GA Pope helped lead the Vikings to a win over Centre College in SAA play. Pope led the Vikings with 13 points and scored the game winner with 1:19 to go as the Vikings won 63-62. Pope then led the team with 17 points to go with six rebounds against Sewanee.
  • Caleb Kent | Millsaps | SR | Madison, MS - Millsaps men's basketball senior guard Caleb Kent posted a strong weekend against SAA newcomers Southwestern and No. 25 Trinity, helping the Majors split wins over the weekend. Kent averaged 16 points, eight rebounds, 2.5 assists and two steals, while shooting 65 percent (13-of-20 FG).
  • Malachi Dooley | Oglethorpe | SR | Mt. Airy, GA - Oglethorpe senior guard Malachi Dooley posted two 20-point games including a double-double to cap the week in Oglethorpe's OT win over Centre. It marked his third double-double of the season and sixth and seventh 20-point game of the season.
  • Shawn Jones Jr. | Rhodes - Shawn Jones Jr. delivered a strong all-around weekend for the Lynx, highlighted by a statement win over nationally ranked, Top-25 Trinity. In the 79–73 victory, Jones finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists, controlling the tempo and impacting the game on both ends as Rhodes knocked off one of the nation’s top teams. He followed that with another efficient performance in an 89–56 win over Southwestern, recording 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting with 13 rebounds. Across the weekend, Jones averaged 14.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, showcasing his versatility and leadership
  • Shobby Enakpene | Southwestern | SR | Midland, TX -Enakpene had a monster game on Friday in a tight loss to Millsaps College with a career-high 27 points. The senior went 10-19 from the field and 5-9 from deep with four boards and three assists. The senior turned in 12 points against Rhodes College in only 22 minutes.
  • Zach Fenn | Trinity | SR | Covington, LA -Fenn led the 25th-ranked Trinity men's basketball team to a road weekend split in SAA play, bouncing back from a narrow loss to Rhodes on Friday with a win against Millsaps on Sunday that kept the Tigers tied atop the SAA standings. Fenn averaged 9.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and a whopping 7.5 steals per game over the weekend. In Sunday's win at Millsaps, Fenn flirted with a quadruple-double while breaking the school record with nine steals. He scored 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out nine assists to go with her record-breaking nine steals.
